If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or expect to become pregnant consult with your esthetician and doctor prior to treatment
Any facial waxing or injectables are to be avoided a week prior to your appointment
Post Treatment
Do your best to avoid touching, picking, or scratching your face. This can lead to scarring and increase risk of infections or breakouts.
Keep your skin moisturized, but don’t over saturate. Use a neutral, unscented cream or lotion for at least 3 days post treatment.
SPF is mandatory. You should avoid sun exposure as much as possible and if you do have to go outside apply sunscreen that is at least SPF30. Your skin is extra sensitive after a chemical peel so you need to be extra careful about sun exposure.
Keep your skincare routine simple for at least 3-day after. Limit yourself to the following steps:
Wash with a gentle (sulfate-free cleanser). You may start cleansing 8-12 hours post treatment or as directed by your esthetician.
Apply an alcohol-free toner (use a spray bottle or gently pat it onto your skin, do not use a cotton pad).
Moisturize with a neutral moisturizer and apply an antioxidant serum like Vitamin C.
SPF is mandatory!
Minimize sweating for 24 hours, this includes working out, saunas, and jacuzzis. Swimming should also be avoided for 48 hours.
Talk to your esthetician about post treatment care products.
